Kamundia Butchery Nairobi has traded from Stall 55 at City Market, Muindi Mbingu Street, since 1959. Three generations of the same family have worked the counter, and we still do things the old way: whole carcasses come into our own cold room and we break them down ourselves, rather than buying meat already portioned. That's why we can cut to order. Tell us the thickness, the portion and the trim you want, or tell us what you're cooking and we'll pick the cut for you. At the counter you'll find beef steaks and roasts, chicken and kienyeji, goat, mutton and lamb, fish and seafood from tilapia to Norwegian salmon, and offal. Our deli makes beef sausages, burger patties, meatballs, hand-folded samosas and marinated mshikaki in house. We marinate to order too. Can't get into town?
